Fall 2025 Student Feedback Surveys are Open Now!

  • Regular session surveys are open from November 27th until December 15th.
  • Students can access the surveys directly in Canvas using the Course Feedback link in the navigation.
  • Faculty can check current responses rates from the Response Page page on the Qualtrics Dashboard.

About SCF

Student Course Feedback began as a student-led initiative to help improve learning and inform course choices. In 2003, the University adopted a standardized online survey for all credit-bearing courses. The SCF program is coordinated by the Martha Bradley Evans Center for Teaching Excellence.

SCF supports continuous improvement in teaching, faculty development and review, and informed decision-making.

What's New for 2025

The University of Utah is transitioning to Qualtrics as the new platform for collecting and sharing Student Course Feedback.

Students will access surveys via Canvas and email invitations.
Instructors and administrators will log in with SSO to view results and manage surveys.
Feedback from 2021–2025 has been archived in Box folders your department can access.
Feedback from 2007–2020 remains archived in Box and available by request.

Surveys for miscellaneous session courses open on the last day of class and run for 5 days.

Senate Advisory Committee on Student Course Feedback (SACSCF)

The SACSCF designed, and will revise as needed, a standardized “Student Course Feedback Instrument” and a standardized “Course Feedback Report” suitable for use in all credit-bearing courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
